Selection, use and installation guide for pressure rivet bolts
1. Selection
When selecting rivet bolts, comprehensive considerations need to be made based on the load conditions of the connector and the use environment. Common pressure riveting bolt models include equal-diameter pressure riveting bolts and different-diameter pressure riveting bolts, which need to be selected according to the hole diameter and plate thickness of the workpiece.
2. Use and install
Drilling
Drilling work is required before installing the rivet bolts. The diameter of the drill hole should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the riveting bolt, and can also be set according to the installation specifications provided by the riveting bolt manufacturer. The drilling depth also needs to be noted, it should be slightly deeper than the length of the rivet bolt.
Install
Place the rivet bolt into the drilled hole so that it matches the depth of the workpiece as much as possible. Then use professional riveting pliers to squeeze the riveting bolt to its end with appropriate pressure, so that its carcass shrinks and the expansion body in the drilled hole expands to form a connection. Repeat the above steps until all the rivet bolts have been installed.
3. Inspection
After installation, all fasteners need to be inspected to ensure that each rivet bolt shrinks equally and is not damaged or broken during the installation process. At the same time, the machine or equipment after installation also needs to be inspected to ensure that the installation of riveting bolts will not affect its normal use.
In short, the correct selection and use of riveting bolts are key factors to ensure the stability and reliability of the connection. When selecting and using rivet bolts, the relevant specifications must be strictly followed to ensure connection quality and safety.
